Please note that following the changes to European Union VAT rules as of August 2021 we are no longer able to sell or ship to private individuals residing within the EU. This does not affect sales to VAT registered businesses. Shipments to EU businesses will be subject to VAT at the local rate. However, the VAT may be reclaimed by the business in the usual manner. Payment of VAT may be required before the courier will make the delivery.
All orders must be paid for in advance and in full. Goods will not be shipped until we receive cleared funds. The only exception to this rule is if credit terms have previously been agreed. The prices quoted are end-user retail prices. Discounts may be available for bona-fide trade customers (who are reselling the product), or to customers purchasing in bulk.
We can accept Visa & MasterCard credit and debit card payments in addition to bank wire transfers and UK cheques. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express credit cards. We are also unable to accept Paypal payments due to their utterly unreasonable terms & conditions and their extremely high fees.
Please note: We do not currently have a web shop or on-line ordering facility, so card paying customers must telephone with card details. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.UK orders are subject to VAT at the current rate (20% as of January 2021). VAT is not payable on export orders.
Overseas customers wishing to pay via bank transfer must instruct their bank to make the payment in GB Pounds Sterling and not your local currency. The customer is responsible for all bank fees and we reserve the right to impose a levy to cover bank charges.
Shipments outside of the European Union may be subject to local import taxes. Geartronics Ltd. takes no responsibility for any import duties imposed by overseas customs. We cannot falsify customs documentation to avoid import tax being charged on your shipment. This is strictly illegal and puts us in a difficult position, so please don't ask!
UK shipping is by next-day DPD Local or Royalmail 'Special Delivery'. International shipping is by either DHL Express or priority airmail service for small items. Full details upon request.
